Fabien Mourot - Lapidary Artist

I’m a French-American lapidary artist. I started as a stone mason, working to restore historical monuments and establishments for 15 years. Since then I’ve been on a road of adventure for 10 years, moving to a new country every 2 years. During my stay in Botswana, I met a German guy who introduced me to tumbling agate stones from Botswana. After that I entered the fascinating world of lapidary artistry. I’ve been cutting cabochon and perfecting my style for 7 years. I love woodworking too and sometimes try to mix both materials to reflect my personality with a lot of a curves.
